Tecmo Koei announces that Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus will release across North America and Europe on February 22, 2012, launch day for the PlayStation Vita in the Western Hemisphere.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus is a port of the PlayStation 3 game with enhanced PlayStation Vita features, including using the rear track pad to launch new attacks, using the gyro sensor to target enemies and enabling the player to switch between first and third person views. Yosuke Hayashi is very confident with the port of Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus.
“We’re confident that gamers, both our fans and those new to the series, will find Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus to be a thrilling and challenging experience that lives up to the spirit of what the series is best known for while offering a host of new and portable gameplay mechanics.”

so a port of the first sigma game? if so, no thank you, i already have it for the original xbox and ps3.
Yup.
yay more games that are on other current-gen consoles! just keep pumping them out, vita. that’ll attract more buyers….
They attracted me, I’d rather play them on the go where I’d enjoy them more, than sitting at home tethered to the T.V
then you’re part of a very small demographic, it seems.
3DS just releases games from other consoles? The only original game is Mario 3D. And even then a Mario game is 95% recycled…
my comment flew right over your head from the looks of things. i’ll grant you that super mario 3D land [and mario kart 7] are currently the only original 3DS games at the moment, but A: if mario games were near as recycled as you claim, they wouldn’t have near as many buyers, and B: the remakes that are on the 3DS are from the N64(over 10 years ago), and the ocarina of time remake sold like cold water on a hot day. on the other hand, the vita ports are available on consoles –OF THE CURRENT GENERATION– (figured i’d capitalize the part you missed) so who in their right mind would pay $250 just to play a game that’s on a system they probably already own? from what i can tell, the only ones biting this hook are people like jio who prefer to play their long console games on the go, which doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of people
Well, it’s easier to play them on the go. I take long trips often, and I think it’s amazing playing games like Uncharted with great headphones on the go.
Truthfully im happy about this the last time I played this was on the original xbox and it was a great game back then.
