PlayStation Vita Sells 321,407 Units In First Two Days

Since the launch of the PlayStation Vita on December 17 in Japan, the system has sold 321,407 units in just its first two days of being on sale, according to Famitsu. In contrast the Nintendo 3DS sold over 400,000 units in its first two days of being on sale.

      • Probably because Sony does a terrible job at marketing. They make great products, but I almost never see an ad, I doubt most of the mainstream public even knew about the vita. When the 3DS was going to be released, there were commercials everywhere, but not a single for the vita.

    • While I do agree about Monster Hunter I don’t think CoD would sell well at all as the western gamers prefer FPS on home consoles/computers over anything else. Casual games on the other hand sell like crazy on handhelds, especially in Europe were the Vita probably will have its largest userbase.

I like how you just change the numbers. (:
You should decide to use the same numbers on both of your news-pages, else it’s kind of deceptive and confusing.

      • This was post by Robert (88central) my posts are under the name Sickr. I’ve edited the post to give the full number :)

      • To sickr (somehow I can’t reply to you directly..) :
Oh, sorry then. But I still think that the same numbers should be used on both sites. Plus, if you did use the exact numbers on mynintendonews then the numbers on this page are obviously wrong. I mean, 371,326 is not “over 400,000″ I guess.

    • And this affects you how? if you dont own nintendo or sony your yearly “revenue” is still the same, this only proves that if given the chance you would suck a dick just to show how much you love a company over the other.
